Freshers’ Week 2014 at Imperial College London

logo-2.pngHey there! Excited for Freshers’ Week?

Don’t forget to look out for our stall at the Freshers’ Fair this year! We’ll be at the Beit Quad. It shouldn’t be hard to find us; we’ll be wearing bright blue shirts that read ‘UNICEF’ (surprise, surprise). We will be able to give you quick glance through of the events we had last year and what you can do this year!

Also, do come down for our information session

(14th Oct 2014, 6-8pm, LT140 in the Huxley Building) where we will have free pizzas, and share more regarding our club, including the exciting activities we have lined up for the year ahead. Non-freshers are welcome as well! Thrust us, it will be a meeting not to miss!

Lastly, don’t forget to like our Facebook page at

See you soon!

Imperial College UNICEF on Campus

UNICEF is the world’s leading organization working specifically for children and their rights. UNICEF goes great lengths in making a lasting difference to children’s lives. In everything they do, the most disadvantaged children are their priority. All work is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which sets out the rights of every child, no matter who they are or where they live, to be healthy, to be educated, to be treated fairly and heard, to be protected from violence, abuse and exploitation.

UNICEF UK’s mission in the UK is to raise money for UNICEF’s global work for children and their rights, and to advocate for those rights to be realised for all children worldwide.

ICU UNICEF‘s main goals are to raise awareness about children’s living conditions, not only in thepoorest countries but also in the UK, and to raise funds for UNICEF‘s programmes.
