RCS Motor Club

London to Brighton Run 2013

Tickets are now on sale to join the RCS and RSM Motor Clubs on the famous Heritage Commercial Vehicle Society run, which this year will take place on Sunday 5th May 2013. RCS Motor Club will be taking part in the run, along with our friends at RSM Motor Club, and the presentation of the vehicle will be judged upon arrival at Brighton.

Online ticket sales have now close but if you still would like to come please email jez@imperial.ac.uk

How much does it cost?

Tickets are just £20, and you do not need to be a club member to join in. Your ticket price covers only the cost of fuel and a minibus. We will stopping off at a pub on the way home for dinner (http://jollytanners.com/), which you will need to pay for yourself. Everything else is completely up to you: you are under no obligation to buy programmes/souvenirs/etc. however you are more than welcome to treat yourself.

What time do I need to get out of bed?

We will be meeting at the RCS Motor Club garage at 6:00 AM on Sunday. The Awards Ceremony will be held between 4:30-5:00PM, and we will begin to depart Brighton from 6:00PM, aiming to arrive back at Imperial College by 11:00PM.

Your help needed!

Both Jezebel and Clementine will be judged at this event for our presentation, so your assistance in polishing, cleaning, and general beautifying of the vehicles will be most appreciated. People coming with us on the run are expected to help out. We will be on show at the Imperial Festival, Saturday 4th May, where we will be preparing the vehicles for the long drive.
