The Felix Sex Survey 2015
Thank you for agreeing to take part in this year’s Felix Sex Survey. In this annual feature, Felix looks into what Imperial students get up to under the covers, how attitudes and habits have changed over the years, and generally has a bit of fun.
We'd love you to be honest, but if there's anything you don't want to answer - don't! The default option on every question is to not say, so only answer the questions you want to answer.
Your submission is completely anonymous and will be treated with the greatest level of care in confidentiality. For complete information on the privacy and data protection, click here.
This survey has 71 questions, however the number you will actually answer may be far fewer than this as questions shown depend on prior answers. We have tested this survey and you can fill it out in five minutes or less.
Further Privacy Information
Your College username is encoded and stored in a database on a secure Union server completely separate to your questionnaire answers. Your user name is stored simply so the computer knows that you have completed the survey.
The computer also checks the answer you give for "department" in the questionaire against the department registered to your username, and the result of this check will be stored on the questionnaire results as a true/false value.
At no point will this list of usernames be seen by anyone from the people conducting this survey, the Union or the College (and as it's encoded, even if they did see it, it wouldn't mean much).
Once the survey is finished, the user name database will be deleted, and the questionnaire answers will then be made available to a very small number of people as part of the survey team who will be analysing them.
The data will only be stored on College computers and will be transferred by secure College file-exchange. At no point will personal computers or USB sticks be used.
To reiterate: at no point will it be possible for your questionnaire answers to be matched to you.
Furthermore, once the research has been completed, all remaining data will be deleted.
