IC Lawn Tennis Club is one of the largest and most active societies at Imperial College. We cater for tennis players of all levels, from beginners to players who represent Imperial competitively. Our seven teams are among the best in the region, with the Men's 1st team recently promoted to the Premier League, and nominated for Sport Imperial's Team of the Year.
Our thriving social tennis sessions offer courts, rackets, balls and coaching advice to all standards of players. We have 4 Men's and 2 Women's teams as well as the mixed LUSL team. The club has great success in recent years, winning Sport Imperial's Club of the Year in 2012 and 2014.
Our courts include Hyde Park, Bishop's Park, Concorde Club, Paddington Rec, and weekly training indoors at the prestigious Queen's Club. We also have a university-wide league to suit all standards who want to play competitive tennis, as well as the LTA's new University Timed Tennis initiative, and regular friendly matches against other London universities.
Members are eligible for A FREE British Tennis Membership. This also entitles you to enter the club ballot for WIMBLEDON TICKETS (as well as many other benefits!). We also have access to discounted tickets to see the top eight players in the world battle it out at the O2 Masters in November.
The club organises plenty of social events including a Christmas dinner and a tour! Previous tours have gone to Spain and Italy.
We will be holding our Open Day and team trials from 1-3pm on Wednesday 5th October at Hyde Park tennis club. Come along and try out for one of our teams - just drop in at any point in the time frame.
Our FREE Give it a Go Social Tennis Session will be taking place on Sunday 8th October 10am - 12pm at Virgin Active Fulham Pools
