Hothead by Simon IngsReviewed by: Andy (Wyrmtongue, Feb. 1997) It is a while since I read this proto-cyber punk novel- Ings' first. It was great, but weird. Too much cyberpunk is American/Japanese in style, so the European spin given in this book is a grateful and refreshing alternative. The story concerns Malise, a washed out space warrior who gets caught up in a battle for the survival of the Earth itself, as unknown to her the hard ware in her brain contains blue prints of the massive human built destructive robots that are out of control and heading for Earth.
